The Westside Domestic Violence Network (WDVN)
seeks to improve communication, collaboration and accountability
among Westside agencies that work with those experiencing domestic
violence.
Increase public awareness
Inform members of up-to-date resources
Improve access to services
Enhance linkages in the community
Train/consult to agencies
The WDVN was founded by Sojourn and community members in June 1995 at a networking conference attended by 80 service providers, organizations and community leaders concerned about the effects of DV on Westside families. Since then the Network has sponsored hundreds of trainings, consulations, conferences, collaborations and task forces.
